We, twins Annie and Linnéa Wennergren, founded GoCoCo ™ in the late fall of 2008. After completing our studies at the Stockholm School of Economics and London College of Fashion, we decided to implement our dream of starting our own businesses. One of our greatest passions is to be active and play sports. We saw a great potential to offer the market garments and socks with the highest technological function with new and fresh design. For us it is also important to select materials without chemical additives that can harm the environment or the body.

We have since youth being sailing races at elite level and tested the majority of functional materials on the market. Nevertheless, we have found it difficult to find sports garments that meet the requirements of garments and materials we have as active athletes. It has always been difficult to keep dry under the dry suits and dry quickly between sailing sessions. Another problem is that the sweat smell is impossible to wash out completely from the underwear and workout clothes. After only one year's use, the garments have not been able to use because of the odor, although the garment itself has been intact. At sea, we also need to protect ourselves against the sun, which sometimes can be really strong when training sessions are long during sunny summer days.

In this respect, and parents who work within the textile industry, we have been able to test a variety of materials. Finally, we found material Cocona™ function which has several unique and positive qualities and that works in all types garments such as socks, underwear, shirts and jackets. Cocona™ is produced with no chemical additives and extracted from leftover charcoal from coconut shells. The activated carbon is merged into the fibers through a patented method Cocona™.

We have found that Cocona™ is perfect for both the sailing course, ski slope or running track. This is unique and we hope that you as a user, experience the same comfort as we do in our clothes!
