Our socks can be washed in 40-60°C and, as with other performance materials, softener should be avoided. To ensure the longest possible lifespan for your socks, we recommend you wash them inside out and avoid washing them with towelling or similar fabrics, as this unravels the fibres and can cause causing pilling; preferably in a closed laundry bag.
Compression helps to increase blood circulation in your legs. This transports the toxins away faster and supplies the muscles with new oxygen faster. This in turn means you feel more refreshed, alert and lighter on your feet while you are being active. You are simply delaying the feeling of fatigue!
Compression also helps to speed up muscle recovery and you will feel more refreshed sooner after a workout and more alert for your next workout. If you are not used to using, or prefer not to use, compression during the actual activity, you can wear the socks or sleeves after the activity, thereby speeding up your recovery.
Gococo's Compression socks are also good for long journeys or sedentary days, as well as during pregnancy.
All compression socks are divided into size intervals. You should generally chose the interval your size is within. But if you are towards the lower end of the interval, then you can wear a size below if you want a greater compression effect. This also applies to people with slender ankles. We have designed the L+ compression sock for men with large feet.
If you are in the upper interval (size L) but have small feet, it might be a better idea to buy a Compression Calf Sleeve kit instead of a full sock. That way you will have the right size socks for your feet and the right compression for your calves.
If you are in the lower interval (size S) but have large feet, it might be a better idea to buy a Compression Calf Sleeve kit instead of a full sock. That way you will have the right size socks for your feet and the right compression for your calves.
Gococo's compression socks are available in two different compression classes, which means the sock varies between the models. All of Gococo's products have 37.5 Technology polyester performance material located in the foot. This keeps your feet dry and comfortable, unlike other compression socks that are often made from nylon, which tends to cause clammy feet. With dry, quick-drying socks you are also minimising the risk of chafing and blisters. 37.5 Technology polyester also helps to keep your feet free from odour (read: smelly feet) due to its natural odour control method, without any chemical additives. This also means your shoes last longer!
The leg of the compression socks should lie flat against your calf, without any wrinkles, and should reach up to approx. 2.5 cm below your knee. If the leg is too long, distribute the fabric evenly over your calf and never fold down the upper edge of the leg, as this can cause uneven pressure and reduce the compression effect.
